The Roaster is solid Stainless and is thick and heavy.It is, by far, the finest Roasting pan I have ever seen.I would strongly recommend it to anyone.

Very nice pan for the money. Not so big and not so small. Medium size turkey will fit fine and some chickens as well separately of-course. Other pans for the same metal thickness cost more. Definitely a buy. Very thick metal that does not flex and this thing feels solid.Update: I just used it once and the pan is great! a bit water after the 4 hour roast and the junk half hour later all off. Highly recommended over other a like Viking overpriced pan.Cheap is cheap so get what you pay for just buy quality.

After researching a large roasting pan, and having an aversion to aluminum, this was the pan we settled on. We ended up purchasing it from another vendor, for the same price as listed here, only because my brother-in-law offered to purchase it for us for Christmas, and he had gift cards for elsewhere.The pan is obviously well-constructed, and solid stainless steel. My only complaint, which is across the board, regarding roasting pan ads, is that the dimensions given are all over the lot, and, mostly, not correct. This pan is mostly listed as 16.75". It is not. There is NO dimension, interior or exterior that comes to 16.75". Actual dimensions> Interior: 12.75" x 15.75" x 4.125"; Exterior: 13.75" x 18" x 6.5".That said, I'm definitely NOT sending it back. I'm looking forward to using it for many years.
