I'm a grandmother, so I have cooked a few roasts. Let me tell you, this pan surpasses all previous roasting pans I ever owned. I love the "handles" - I am able to get a good grip on it. I cooked a turkey in it and the clean up was FAST! I usually have to let a roasting pan soak for an hour and then have to scrub not only the pan, but the rack. Those racks can be hard to clean but not this one. Cleaned the rack and the pan in under three minutes! I couldn't be happier! If you are in the market for a roasting pan, definitely get this one! I was a little skeptical because of the low price, but it is definitely good quality! The name Farberware is a brand you can rely on!

While described as 16 �" by 13 �", the bake ware's roasting cavity is 14" x 12". We expected the dimensions to reflect the actual working area similar to how most bake ware dimensions describe the inside area of the bake ware (i.e. a 13 x 9 cake pan means 13" x 9" on the inside). A �" difference from the claimed size is okay, but 1 � - 2 �" difference is not. This is the first time we had to return an item purchased from Amazon, so sad.

I bought this mainly to cook chicken and turkey but so far I have use it for everything else. I have used this roaster to cook a ham and steaks twice. To broil steaks with it, I like to set the broiler on high put a little water in the bottom of the pan and then set the steaks on top of the rack. I cook them for about 7 minutes per side this way and they come out great with no smoking.What I thoroughly enjoy about this pan is how easy it has been to clean. Everything wipes clean with just a little soap and water. There has been no burned on mess whatsoever.I got this at a really great bargain price but it is worth much more than I paid because of it's high quality and ease of use.
