Pros:Easy clean upPresentable from the ovenCan be frozen and microwaved (If your microwave is big enough)SturdyCons:Heavy when filled with foodI had already bought the smaller 9x9 pan like this one before, and loved it so much, I decided to splurge on a larger lasagna pan.I have made two things so far in this pan, I used it to make vegetarian lasagna and to finish some steaks I was cooking on a cast iron insert for our stove.First thing, I didn’t spray the pan when making the lasagna. I was making a new recipe and forgot to. The lasagna cooked thoroughly and was easy to get out because of the gloss finish on the inside. I should mention at this point, with it filled � full of food, it was heavy. It took us 3 days to eat all of that lasagna in which it spent its time in the fridge. At this point, I thought it was going to take some elbow grease to scrub out; however, it took a couple minutes with a sponge. This won me over.Now onto the steaks I cooked in it. I grilled the steak for a couple of minutes and decided to finish in the oven. Nothing fancy, just salt, pepper and olive oil. I put this pan in the oven as I preheated it to 450F. I transferred the steak to the pan, added a couple pats of butter, and in a few minutes the first steak was done, and about 10 minutes the last steak was done (everyone likes their steak differently). My husband in awe about the incredible steaks I just made offered to clean the pan. The next morning it was still sitting on the stove, so it sat… overnight… with the remnants of steak grease and fat all over the shiny white.It took less than 5 minutes with a sponge to get it sparkling white again. I was surprised. This would’ve been at least 30 minutes of soaking with cursing and grumbling on WHY was I cleaning the pan with my Pyrex dish.This pan will be a part of our family for a long time. I can feel the quality when I pick it up. I plan on buy more Emile bake ware when I have a need for them.
